You will work closely with the doctors and educate patients to provide preventive and therapeutic dental care to maintain smiles and overall health! If you are a skilled and compassionate professional, this position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive documentation and continuous communication/collaboration with the doctors.
  • Perform accurate assessments according to ADA and AAP guidelines/standards including, but not limited to: caries risk; periodontal condition; oral cancer; radiographic technique and findings.
  • Effectively perform appropriate preventive or therapeutic procedure as prescribed by the doctor.
  • Educate patients about clinical findings, oral health/overall health, progression of disease, proper home care and recare frequencies.
  • Focus on comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage schedules.
  • Commitment to maintaining dental hygiene licensure and knowledge through continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Active RDH license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional communication and collaboration with the dentist and the office team.
  • Team player who supports cohesiveness throughout the office.
  • Excellent patient communication and education skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
